Self-exiled British royal Prince Harry poked fun at himself as he attended a comedy fundraising event for US military veterans. The Duke of Sussex, 39, wore a chest of medals as he addressed an audience on video link from the home in Montecito, California he shares with wife Meghan Markle ,42, and their two children Archie ,four, and Lilibet, two. Also sporting a poppy for the UK's upcoming Remembrance Day for the dead of previous wars. The New York event, called Stand Up for Heroes , was founded with the aim of raising money to support service members and raise awareness about the tough challenges veterans are facing. The event was co-created by US journalist and campaigner Bob Woodruff who runs a charity , The Bob Woodruff Foundation, for veteran servicemen and women. It's a cause close to Harry's heart as he served in the military for ten years, including two tours in Afghanistan. The Woodruff Foundation hosted the event at Lincoln Center, in New York City in partnership with the New York Comedy Festival.
