Pictures MUST credit: Pophouse Entertainment Legendary US rock band Kiss is finishing touring — but will continue live performances with all the band members appearing as superhero avatars with help from ABBA. The face-painted group has become known for theatrical live performances over a 50 year career and sales of more than 100 million records worldwide. But now it is marking the end of its physical existence by crossing into the digital world. The band played its last ever gig at New York's iconic Madison Square Gardens on Saturday December 2nd. It has now handed over live duties to their new digital avatars who performed the encore. The virtual performance was created in partnership with Pophouse Entertainment, which was co-founded by ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus . It utilises the technology used in London's ABBA Voyage shows where fans of the Swedish supergroup are treated to concerts from digital recreations of the band. Picture supplied by JLPPA
