But before eco-warriors start complaining, the low-slung machine is actually a full electric-powered vehicle. Called the TC2, it is being produced in the Netherlands by niche car company Carice. It weighs just 630 and has a claimed range of 300 km fully charged but other performance figures such as acceleration time, have not yet been revealed. The firm describes it as " a compact and sporty convertible where state of the art technology combined with beautiful classic design.” A spokesperson said: "It handles exceptionally dynamic yet comfortable.
