Pictures MUST credit: Christie's A painting that the four Beatles all contributed to while holed up in a hotel room on tour, is set to fetch up to $600,000 USD / €542.700 euros at auction. The large colourful painting made in a Tokyo hotel room in 1966 was untitled but has since become known as Images Of A Woman. It is being sold by the New York saleroom of auction house Christie's on February 1 next year on behalf of a private collector who acquired it in 2012. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ring Starr created the work in Room 1005 , the presidential suite of Tokyo's Hilton Hotel. It is where they spent most of the 100 hours they had in Japan from June 29 to July 3, 1966. Picture suppied by JLPPA
