London, UK 28th Jan 2024. The Lord General of the King's Army of the English Civil War Society leads the procession along the Mall. Every Year, the English Civil War Society's volunteers with The Kings Army, march along the Mall in central London and to Horse Guards Parade, in Commemoration of Charles I, who was martyred 30th January 1649. Each regiment in the re-enactment consists of officers, muskets, followed by the colour, drummers, pikemen and baggage (women and children).
