And in the teaser trailer for apocalyptic futuristic film Atlas, she is the pilot of a giant flying robot. The role is a big change from her many rom coms. The 54-year-old actress and singer plays Atlas Shepherd, a brilliant data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence. It is set in a future where humanity's begun using massive AI-powered robots to wage war, She joins a mission to become part of a covert mission to take out a rogue machine but finds herself thrust into danger that only a machine can protect her from.
