William Shatner , 93 ans dans l'émission TV de Jimmy Kimmel - Pictures must credit: ABC Star Trek legend William Shatner relieved his Captain Kirk death scene on a Tv chat show — after attempting to blow out 93 candles on a birthday cake. The star , who turns 93 today (March 22) , appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show in the USA to promote new documentary Call Me Bill which is his life story. L Shatner took applause for reaching the milestone from the studio audience in Los Angeles. But he joked after it stopped: "Applause because you're 93 is a little suspicious …..but if they could see this movie , Call Me Bill. and then applause. that would be really nice !” As he spoke, Kimmel's on stage assistant , comedian Guillermo Rodriguez, brought on a birthday cake with 93 candles blazing away. As he put it in front of the star, Kimmel said:” We actually had to get permission from the fire marshal to do this.” Shatner replied: "Is it your expectation that I'm going to blow them all out or shall we invite the audience to blow them out ?” Kimmel then asked: "You want to give it a shot because you get the wish ?” Picture supplied by JLPPA
