Pictures must credit: Netflix Here are images from the new Netflix drama made around the interview Britain's Prince Andrew gave to the BBC about his relationship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew is played by actor Rufus Swell while former X-Files actress Gillian Anderson plays journalist Emily Maitlis who grilled the royal for the corporation's Newsnight programme in November 2019. Andrew publicly recounted his dealings with Epstein for the first time. The interview was recorded in Buckingham Palace. The drama, called Scoop, is based on the memoir of former Newsnight producer Sam McAlister who got the interview. She is played by former Dr Who assistant Billie Piper. The interview was intended to dispel increasing scrutiny of his relationship with Epstein, who died in prison earlier that year - as well as allegations that he had sex with Virginia Giuffre when she was 17.
