Pictures MUST credit: Julien's Auctions A Marilyn Monroe fan has paid $195,000 USD / €180.560 euros to spend eternity alongside the iconic sex bomb actress. Marilyn's final resting place is in a mausoleum the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary in Los Angeles, California where Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is also interred. Beverly Hills-based tech investor Anthony Jabin held off rival bidders to snap up the space at auction. He said afterwards: ”I've always dreamt of being next to Marilyn Monroe for the rest of my life.” The crypt, identified as "Wall B, Space C-3 " is situated one row above and four spaces to the left of Monroe's crypt which continues to be visited by fans from all over the world. It had a pre-sale estimate of upwards of $200,000 USD / €182.660 euros - €365.320 euros. A grave marker from Marilyn Monroe's crypt sold for an astonishing $88,900 USD / €82.315 euros , forty-four times its estimate of $2,000 USD / €1.850 euros.
