Pictures must credit: Infineon Technologies A TECH firm is offering manicures that allow people to pay for products using just their fingernail. Swiss company Smart Chip has created a device that holds a user's bank card details.It then links to a phone app. This allows the wearer to wave their finger in front of a card machine to pay their bill. Depending on the individual's nails, the chip will have to be replaced up to seven times a year. Smart Chip founder Rudolph Reiber said: "Smart Chip is always with you, you may even cover it with a colour. "It can't be stolen and you cannot forget it at home.” He added that the chip could potentially be used for more than just a convenient way to pay at stores. He explained:” In the future you may use it as a house key , to store loyalty cards, tickets and even personal data such as health insurance cards.” Picture supplied by JLPPA
