Pictures must credit: Warner Bros. Here's a first look at Lady Gaga in the Joker sequel film which sees her morphing into Batman villain Harley Quinn. The movie, Joker: Folie à Deux sees Joaquin Phoenix reprise his 2019 Oscar-winning role in the foundation story of the another Caped Crusader opponent. It begins with the Joker, real name Arthur Fleck, in a mental hospital, standing in a cell and seemingly spacing out early in the morning. Arthur is seen being led down a corridor, surrounded by officers, when he and Lady Gaga meet each other's eyes through the opening of a door, which is just slightly ajar. Av voiceover says: "We use music to make us whole. To balance the fractures within ourselves.” Another scene sees Gaga's character telling Arthur: ""I'm nobody. I haven't done anything with my life like you have. The trailer then devolves to show Phoenix and Gaga holding hands, being chased in the streets, dancing at a party, and the duo performing onstage, as well as Gaga doing the Joker's signature makeup. The end of the trailer sees Gaga visiting Phoenix at Arkham Asylum as she draws a happy face on the glass separating them with her red lipstick.
