Pictures must credit: Anouk Wipprecht A mind-controlled 3D-printed dress offers the ultimate in personal fashion — thanks to built-in displays that respond to the wearer's brain waves. Called Screendress, it was created by Dutch fashion tech designer Anouk Wipprecht. It incorporates a brain interface that measures cognitive load in real-time, this dress shows you how much stimulus the brain gets at any given time. The term 'cognitive load' refers to the amount of information our working memory can process at any moment. The dress shows the wearer's cognitive load to the outside world. Fashion becomes a new kind of interconnection controlled by subconscious signals from the wearer's brain. These signals are picked up using a new cutting-edge EEG sensor contained in a headband that forms a wearable brain-computer interface. The interface uses machine-learning to determine the mental workload of the wearer. The workload is then reflected in real time on the six circular displays flaring out from the dress's sculpted neckpiece. As the wearer's mental workload increases , each display shows an iris and pupil dilating wider and wider. Picture supplied by JLPPA
