And the film, called Lola, has been given a panning by critics. Nicola, 29, is married to 48-year-old Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn, 25, and she is listed on the movie credits as Nicola Peltz Beckham. But the film has been torn apart by critics and branded a vanity project. She plays the teenage girl of the title who works to save up enough money to get her and her younger brother, who wants to transition, out of the toxic home they share with their mother. She soon faces a series of traumatic cliches, such as drug abuse, poverty, sex work and teenage pregnancy.
