Pictures must credit: Travalyst Prince Harry made a surprise video appearance from his California home to talk about how local communities can help with sustainable travel. The Duke of Sussex , 39, spoke in his role as founder of not-for-profit organisation Travalyst which promotes more eco-friendly tourism. It came as it was revealed the self-exiled royal had backdated his new official status as a US resident to the exact day he and wife Meghan were ousted from their UK base. Royal experts suggested he was making a point after being "deeply wounded” by the order to leave Frogmore Cottage, the Windsor home gifted top him and Meghan by the late Queen Elizabeth as a wedding gift. He and Meghan, 42, moved to California in 2020 after choosing to quit Britain and step down as working royals. However, in business documents filed for Travalyst, Harry said he been a US resident since June 29 last year. That was the day his father King Charles ordered him to return the keys to Frogmore.
