Pictures must credit: Lego Anyone art lover can now hang the Mona Lisa on their wall — with a version created from Lego. And the 3D brick version of Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece , which hangs in the Louvre gallery in Paris, is joined by the city's Notre Dame cathedral in a second kit dedicated to the French capital. The company said the "two global icons of Paris” celebrate the rich heritage and history of the city and comes ahead of it hosting the XXXIII Olympic Games this summer. The Mona Lisa comprises 1,503 Lego elements and new colour hues to accurately reflect the colours used by da Vinci over 500 years ago, before the paint changed with age. It has also been designed with a drum-lacquered gold, detachable frame so it can be hung on the wall for display. The Notre-Dame set is said to take builders on a journey through the building's architectural evolution beginning in 1163, when the first stone was laid, its redesign work in the 19th century to its appearance before the fire of 2019.
