Info - D'anciens ministres font leur retour parmi ceux nommés par le Premier ministre F.Bayrou - Le ministre de l'Intérieur démissionnaire Gérald Darmanin a présidé un hommage à Nice, le 1er septembre 2024, à Éric Comyn, l'adjudant membre du peloton motorisé de gendarmerie des Alpes-Maritimes, mort lors d'un refus d'obtempérer à Mougins le 26 août durant un contrôle routier. Le ministre s'est adressé à la famille du gendarme, entouré par bon nombre d'élus et de représentants de la gendarmerie, dont C.Estrosi, le maire de Nice, président de la Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur, président délégué de la Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, H.Moutouh, le nouveau préfet des Alpes-Maritimes, ancien préfet de l'Hérault, E.Ciotti, le député de la 1ere circonscription des Alpes-Maritimes et président controversé des LR, fondateur du nouveau parti l'Union des droites pour la République. Une cérémonie pleine d'émotion qui s'est terminée sous la pluie, comme pour pleurer encore plus ce représentant de l'Etat assassiné sur le bord de la route. Comme l'a dit le ministre. "La mort d'Éric Comyn n'est pas acceptable. Elle nous révolte. Ce n'est pas un refus d'obtempérer, c'est un crime. Ce n'est pas un fait divers, c'est un fait de société. La France entière a été saisie par le choc et de ce choc est né en nous une immense colère". Avec ses mots forts, le ministre a dénoncé un crime. He already has ten convictions on his criminal record and has been arrested twice for driving while intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs.
