The Colombian national, 40, was due to fly from Cartagena in the country to Amsterdam on February 20. The wig contained 19 cocaine capsules weighing 220 gm, said to have a street value of more than €10,00, according to authorities. The National Colombian Police said the suspect was arrested and accused of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotic substances. The suspect, originally from Pereira, was arrested at Rafael Nunez International Airport . The Anti-Narcotics Unit of the National Colombian Police were alerted when he walked through an airport scanner. The suspect had his head shaved to accommodate the toupee and drugs and wore a cap over it. The hairpiece was glued down and had to be cut away to reveal the drugs. Picture supplied by JLPPA
