Pictures must credit: Warner Bros. A new expanded scene for the long-awaited new Superman movie has been released — showing the Man of Steel's Arctic hideaway staffed by robots. Relatively unknown actor David Corenswet , 31, dons the red cape for the reboot as the Man of Steel in the reboot. He takes over from Englishman Henry Cavill, 41 who starred in three films as the comic book hero from the planet Krypton. The clip is a more detailed look at a scene teased in previous trailers of Superman's dog Krypto The new five and half minute look begins with the supposedly indestructible superhero crashing down to earth in a snow covered wilderness. He is badly hurt and blood oozes from his mouth. But he is able to whistle — and bring cloaked Krypto raising to his side. At first the mutt thinks it is a game and leaps affectionately all over his prostrate master. But then Superman is able to tell Krypton to take him home and give the dog a corner of his cloak to bite down on and drag him away. As Krypto hurtles away across the desolate landscape, a huge giant ice-like structure rises from beneath the snow. Krypto barks and giant doors emblazoned with a giant "S” logo on them open.
