Pictures must credit: NBC Marvel superhero star Jeremy Renner has told how he got back on the snowplough that nearly ended his life following his recovery — and noticed it still had bits of his clothing and "other things” in the tracks. The star , 54, who plays Hawkeye in the film franchise, appeared in theJimmy Fallon talk show to discuss a book about his near fatal snow plough accident. He was crushed by the machine onNew Years Day 2023 at his home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He had previously said the "electric serenity” he felt in the moments he was left clinically dead means he is unafraid of death and filled with a profound sense of peace. The book is called My Next Breath described as a raw memoir retelling of the incident. Fallon showed off a photo of the plough called a snowcat, from the book.He said: "I don't know if I understood the actual size of this machine. "Look at this thing. "And then you write in this that you actually got back on it the next winter.” Renner replied: "Yeah, you know, it's like anything you sort of drive — I go right in the eye of the storm of any fear or anything. "I didn't want this thing to haunt me or own me by any means."It was no big deal. "I know how to drive the thing, it was just interesting getting off of it. "Cause you have to step on the tracks to get off this thing. "And I saw, like, little pieces of my clothing in it still and some other things that I don't want to say. "It was interesting but then I just kind of wink and like, ‘Ha, I made it. You can't beat me.'” Picture supplied by JLPPA
