Picture MUST credit: Magictecture Thrill seekers can now get their own back garden roller coaster. A US company is offering a full build-it-yourself ride in three sizes plus a single or double seater cart. The maker, Magictecture, is offering them under the name Coaster in a Box. It's designed for regular households, it can't be as big as the gigantic roller coasters you're used to riding. It comes in 30 m, 60m or 90m version with a maximum highest point of 7.6m. The footprint ranges from that of a two-car garage to one of four cars. It uses modular box tracks that it is claimed can be assembled by two people without needing welding. The track is said to be able to can support weights of up to 500 pounds, so can safely have a cart carrying two people across the tracks.
