Picture MUST credit: LEGO LEGO has unveiled a magical new set for fans of schoolboy wizard Harry Potter Its a highly detailed recreation of Hogsmeade village where pupils of Hogwarts school of magic could enjoy time out of class. Harry first discovers it one winter when he is banned from leaving the Hogwarts precincts but finds a secret tunnel leading to it. The special collectors edition features seven buildings featured in the movie adaptation of the JK Rowling books plus 12 minifigures including Harry and friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The massive set has 3,228 pieces to build LEGO versions of the high street including Zonko's Joke Shop and the Hog's Head pub where Harry first tastes butterbeer. Other characters include Professor McGonagal and Hogwarts headmaster Aberforth Dumbledore. It is built in three sections, with seven distinct buildings complete with wonky windows, crooked chimneys and snow-dusted rooftops. All doors open to reveal intricately designed interiors, packed with authentic accessories and references to sneakoscopes for spying and a remembrall for conjuring ups lost memories. There's even a portrait of Dumbledore's sister Ariana that opens up and leads to a hidden passage. A LEGO spokesman said: "Whether raising a butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks pub, or delivering letters from the Owl Post, fans can enjoy the snowy magic of Hogsmeade like never before.” The set is available from.
