The 61-year-old is shown using a new one touch espresso coffee maker by Italian home appliance company De'Longhi. The ad was filmed in New Zealand-born director Taika Waititi in his home country with a voiceover from Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio. It starts with Pitt walking into a remote home by the banks of a great lake and being given instructions by the unseen Scamarcio on how to make the perfect cup of coffee. The steps are simple: choose the beans, press a button from a menu of different coffee styles and sip a cappuccino. It ends with Pitt stirring in a chair by the kale with a golden retriever dog by his side. The voiceover tries to get Pitt to pronounce the Italian word "perfetto” correctly. It takes several goes before he gets it right. At the centre of the film are two of De'Longhi's one-touch espresso machines. The Rivelia includes Bean Switch technology for variety, while the Eletta Explore offers more than 50 drink options, from cold brews to lattes. A spokesman for the maker said: "Brand ambassador Brad Pitt celebrates not only the craft of coffee-making, but also the mindful moments that transform it into something even more meaningful.”.
