Picture MUST credit: Tesla Billionaire Elon Musk's Tesla company has unveiled a golden version of its Optimus humanoid robot. The machine is being developed to work in warehouses and car assembly lines amongst other things. But the new work-in-progress model is equipped with Musks's Grok artificial intelligence programme. It uses this to hold conversations and interact with humans. The golden Optimus is also upgraded in looks. It has smoother joints, a slimmer profile, and hand mechanics that better approximate human anatomy. These are said to be cable-driven digits for greater dexterity. It isn't the long-awaited new generation Optimus following the two previous incarnations.
